"The Barbie Bug", oil on panel, 5"x 7" unframed, 7.5"x 9.5" framed
One of the things 2023 is going to be known for is the year of the Barbie movie and everything pink. Who knew what a huge pop culture icon she would be some 64 years later? Well, truth be told, I still have my original Barbie from circa 1964 and I used to love dressing her up with all the little cute accessories that came with her outfits. One of my first sewing projects (before I had a sewing machine) was making her an outfit (which she wears to this day because my mom gave away all of her clothes and such in that cute round patent leather case! IYKYK If you know you know!!). I personally have not seen the movie (it's early September at the moment) but have heard rave reviews. During my extended summer stay at "the shore" as we were coming back from a little evening beach time, I spotted this "Barbie-pink" VW beetle bug!! And the rest is history...

All artwork will be safely and securely wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon ready for giving, gifting, and receiving. I use acid-free wrapping products so as not to damage the goods. Paintings will be shipped in corrugated boxes with frame protectors. Please allow sufficient time for packages to arrive with the holiday rush. Packages will be shipped using either USPS, UPS, or FedEx. I use the Shippo application to send all my packages, and I will select the best possible mode of transportation unless otherwise directed.
