PMC or precious metal clay is a product initially used for the automotive industry for modeling new car designs. It was adapted to the jewelry field and essentially is a binder substance with finely ground silver particles. When fired, the binder burns off and you are left with fine silver.
The really cool thing about PMC is that it can be formed, soldered, enameled, etc. so it is a versatile medium. The links in this bracelet were impressed with a design before firing, then enameled with transparent enamels so the design impression shows through.
It is 7-1/2" long and 5/8" wide.
